Questions about NetPulse
NetPulse is a small browser utility for watching a connection over time.
Does it measure every destination?
No. Requests go to this website. Your connection to a game, call or download service can behave differently because its server and network route are different.
Can I leave it in the background?
Yes, but browsers may throttle background tabs or suspend them to save power. Gaps in the graph can therefore reflect the device rather than an internet outage. Keep the tab visible when comparing short tests.
How do I stop it?
Use Pause on the monitor, or close the tab. The download samples consume bandwidth while monitoring is active. There is no need to leave it running when you are not looking for a particular change.
